St Ives Park Primary School exposes its students to both IBM and Apple Macintosh computers. It has a laboratory of 15 computers and a mini lab to supplement the small pods of computers in the classrooms.
All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 regularly go to the computer laboratory and undertake a diverse range of computer related activities.
These include the learning and use of:
word processing
multimedia presentations
databases and spreadsheets
internet research
use of digital cameras
web design
email
eduweb
Using technology outcomes are integrated into all key learning areas.
