During their years at St Ives Park our students are constantly being prepared for the challenges of High School. This unique school enables children many areas of responsibility and leadership they may not have the chance to develop at a larger school.
Through our academic programs, classroom responsibilities and leadership opportunities our children develop in confidence and so build their self-esteem. They develop the ability to work both independently or as part of a team realising their responsibility to meet deadlines and to maximise the learning outcomes expected of them.
Year 6 students leave well prepared for the challenges of High School.
We ensure that they realise their academic potential, build in self-esteem and confidence. The ability to work independently and as part of a team and a sense of responsibility for meeting deadlines, performing at your best and independent learning are outcomes expected from a St Ives Park education.
Selective High Schools
Year 5 families will be notified when Application Forms are available for the Selective High Schools Test (undertaken in the following year when the student is in Year 6).
