Key Learning Areas St Ives Park Primary School, along with all Departmental schools, follows the state curriculum which is divided into six Key Learning Areas. School timetables are organised to ensure that adequate time is given to all areas. The school organises its program to ensure that structures are provided to support the implementation of Key Learning Areas. An example of this is the school's staged Literacy and Mathematics program. An indicator of the school's success in the implementation of the Key Learning Areas can be found by examining the results of the Basic Skills Tests through The Annual School Report or upon application to the Principal.
