Gifted and Talented

St Ives Park Primary School provides a variety of extension programs for students who are identified as Gifted and Talented.

These include:

• early entry

• accelerating students

• advancing students through our Early Literacy Program(K-2) and Cross Stage Ability Groups (Yr 2-6)

• debating and public speaking

• student leadership programs

• technological advancement through participation in programs such as The Annual School Web Design Competition

• drama and dance groups

• music tuition

• academic competitions

• chess

• dramatic productions

• sport

• classroom programs which involve creative thinking and problem solving, open ended activities and contracts using Bloom's Taxonomy
